Gear pump For the past few years we have been testing an oil pump we purchased from a furnace manufacturer. It was designed to deliver 4 gallons per hour at very low pressure. Recently we started experimenting with metering pumps as a way to guarantee a constant flow through the centrifuge. It was decided to replace the stock 550 rpm gear motor with a 150 rpm motor to see if we could get the flow down to 1 gallon per hour. Turned out to be very simple and is working as expected. Normally I don't recommend running contaminated oil through a gear pump but we haven't had any issues with these low speed pumps. Pump is a Suntec A2RA-7737
